OVERVIEW
This checklist is designed to provide a written system for tracking sanitation tasks across different areas of a grooming or pet care business. The Daily Cleaning Log assigns routine tasks to specific areas, including the reception/lobby, grooming stations, bathing area, kennels/holding, laundry, break room, restrooms, exterior/entry, and storage/chemicals.
The Between-Pet Cleaning Log provides space to record the station or area, pet or service, cleaning completion, and staff initials. This supports documentation of cleaning performed between individual services.
The Weekly and Monthly or Deep Cleaning Logs organize more extensive cleaning and maintenance tasks. They include areas such as kennel and floor areas, tubs, cabinets, windows, restrooms, dryer filters, hair traps, floor drains, air filters, drains, HVAC filters, dryer areas, vents, air intakes, and areas beneath heavy equipment.
